I am delighted to announce that my Half-Timbered Paper Christmas Village is a finalist in the 2023 Etsy Design Awards. It's an honor to be in the company of such incredible designers.

Your holiday decorations don't have to be bulky. Handmade by me in California, this handcrafted and easy-to-store Christmas village looks lovely on your mantel, then folds perfectly flat so you can tuck it away in seconds and your post-holiday cleanup is done! Perfect. A thoughtful gift for anyone living in a small space, too.

Gently lit by flickering LED candles, it's the perfect way to create winter magic. Gather the three village houses into a cozy scene, or sprinkle them throughout your home to be discovered one by one. You can even add the church for a true village feel.

I have created their timbers and roofs with rich and beautiful wood-grained paper. The smallest cottages have stone-textured chimneys, the stately townhouses display regal shields, and even the shutters are 3 dimensional.

Your pieces will arrive flat and fully assembled. Just pop them up and put the tabs through the slots - no glue or tape is needed. Tuck in the LED tea lights included with US shipments, and sit back to enjoy the glow.

At the end of the season, simply fold your luminaries back into their small shipping box and slip them into a drawer. They don't take up any storage space, because no one needs more bulky stuff.

DESIGN

I use creamy, cold-pressed watercolor paper (acid-free and very strong) as the foundation for each piece. Then, I assemble every luminary by hand, adding layers of meticulously cut paper until every piece is literally ready to shine. Layers enhance its strength and durability, too. And I always cut with a blade, never a laser, so no matter how closely you look, you will never find a "toasted" edge in my work. Zoom right in to see every crisp detail.

On these half-timbered houses, details are cut from stunning wood-grained paper. And look closely: the cottage has a stone-textured chimney, the townhouse displays a regal shield, and shutters are 3D.

MEASUREMENTS

The village is 9" wide, 3" deep, and 6" tall. The optional church is 7.5 inches.

SET UP AND STORAGE
